ABOUT US

Bringing the Creative Arts to our Rural Community

Founded in 2022, Westfield Community Arts is a non-profit organization committed to promoting the arts as a critical component of community engagement. We believe in the transformative power of creativity and strive to provide access to the arts for all. Through collaborative projects and events, we seek to empower the next generation of artists and cultivate a culture of creativity and inclusion in Westfield. Our recent mural project is just the beginning of our efforts to make the arts accessible and meaningful for everyone.

WHAT WE DO

Our arts education programs are designed to bring the community together and promote engagement through creativity. We offer classes in a variety of disciplines, including drawing, painting, music, and crafts. Our programs are tailored to meet the needs and interests of seniors and youth, and everyone in between. At Westfield Community Arts, we pride ourselves on fostering meaningful relationships through the power of the arts.

At Westfield Community Arts, we believe that everyone should have access to the transformative power of the arts. That's why we are dedicated to creating community-driven projects that are accessible and inclusive. Our outreach efforts are designed to bring people together, foster creativity, and promote positive change. We are proud to be a part of this vibrant community, and we look forward to continuing to support and promote the arts for years to come.

At Westfield Community Arts, we are always looking for enthusiastic volunteers who can help us with our classes. We need people who can lead a class or just assist with activities. We welcome all types of skills and knowledge. Being a reliable adult for the children in our community is a great way to make a difference and help them develop their creativity and imagination. All members of the community can benefit from the arts, both children and adults.

OUR FIRST PROJECT

Historical mural celebrating Westfield's vibrant history

At Westfield Community Arts, we are excited to share our first project with you: a beautiful historical mural of our town. Working closely with Westfield Historical Society and artist Kenneth Cobb, our enthusiastic volunteers ranging from ages 12 to 70 played an important role in the project by contributing their ideas and hard work. We are proud of the end result and believe it truly captures the spirit of our community's past. Come check it out and see for yourself!
